I just took my cat to the vet to get her matted hair ...

I just took my cat to the vet to get her matted hair shaved. this is so stressful to her they have to knock her out. she had no problems before she went but has been vomitting since she got home. no other symptons. could this just be stress and maybe side effects of the medicine they use to put her to sleep. is there something over the counter i can give her to see if it stops in a couple of days. if it gets worse i will take her back to the vet but that is very stressful for her.
