my cat is sixteen and less than a week ago had a blood test which was normal. It has been two days and she has not had a bowel movement but has been urinating normally and eating and drinking well. Should I be concerned

Yes and no..... If she is straining in the litter box, has a tight belly or seemed to be stressed or pained, I would be worried.

If that's the case, you can add a little canned pumpkin (not pie filling) to her next couple of meals. This will have a gentle laxative effect.

If she STILL doesn't start to have good stools, I would want to see the vet.

You don't want to take any chances with a cat this age.
