Otherwise healthy four-year old inside very long-haired kitty has had on and off diarrhea for several days and today she produced a very large glob of gelatinous goo - had to cut it out of her fur. She is drinking water but very upset about her fur being dirty from the diarrhea and keeps licking. (I have tried to clean it when I have her cooperation.) I am most concerned about the goo that came out - what on earth would cause that?
