My cat had hair loss around his hind legs which is now growing back, but now it seems like he has a hard time eating hard food and will eat only very little soft food. His stool are also few, soft, and smells worse than usual. He has also become less fiesty, if he was any other cat it would be normal... but he usually has a mean side that I haven't seen lately. I realize SOMETHING has to be wrong... if the diagnosis is pretty obvious I'm hoping to beable to avoid a really expensive vet visit.
