My cat YumYum has started chewing on electrical wires and if I cannot control this habit I will have to get rid of him.

Hello,

You can remedy the problem, without having to give up your "precious pet".

Home Depot, Wal-Mart and other stores carry inexpensive tubes that you can slip over your electical wires. They are big enough to put several wire and also really helps in making your house look neat.

For some areas you can put barriers that "Yum Yum" cannot get to. (TV areas, etc).

You can also use Duck Tape to wrap wires to keep her from being able to bite through the tape and get to the wires.
