My cat's litter box has an off smell.....kind of like butter or sour cream. Any suggestions as to what's going on?

Good afternoon, a few questions please:

Do you have more than one cat?
What kind of litter are you using?
Any change in food lately?
Any new treats?
Any vomiting or diarrhea?

I do have another cat, but he has not met her yet (I just acquired this cat about a week ago,and I am keeping my old cat isolated at another house until my new cat is recovered from a URI.

I use Tidy Cats for Multiple Cats scoopable litter.

No changes to food, and no treats.

And his stool looks normal (he does produce a lot of stool, though.
