I have had strep throat for over a month and have just started antibiotics. My cat has now started sneezing. He is almost six years old, lives inside, and has never ever had these symptoms before. He also seems to be running a slight warmer than normal. I have researched and have found that cats can get strep A from humans, and visa versa. Should I be soncerned? I am leaving for a ten day vacation. I have a pet setter staying at my house.
