About four days ago my cat swallowed some string and began puking off-and-on for about two days (he never lost his appetite and when he puked we'd find bits of string). We noticed his voice was horse at the tail end of this period. The following day he stopped puking and was eating normally. We left that day for a two-day trip and just came back to find that his voice was totally gone. He had not puked while we were gone, but we're not sure he ate or drank either because we have four cats. He seems healthy other than that, but we were'nt sure what we should do now (other than take him to the vet at the earliest time).
