Question

My 10 yr old female cat will not walk on her own.

My 10 yr old female cat will not walk on her own. Matter of fact, she will just sit in the same spot all the time, unless I pick her up. I leave for work and when I come home 8 hrs later, she is where she was when I left. This has been going on now for a few weeks, matter of fact, since I took her to he vet to have her left wrist looked at as she would not put any weight on it. The vet put her in twilight to x-ray her, but the x-rays did not show any problem with her wrist. A cortizone shot was injected, but did not help the wrist. He told me that she has some arthritis in her right hip & injected cortizone there also. That helped a bit, but now, she will not move at all. She can stretch out & roll over on her back and even uses her back legs to scratch.....what is wrong with her? Why won't she walk?
