Persians are at risk for chronic sinus infections, namely because of their short smooshy snout. Basically, the particles from the air don't have a chance to get caputred in the nose and sneezed out. Your boy may not be eating because he cannot smell his food. Crusty eyes in a persian again is very common. Clean them with a warm moist tissue to remove the crusties. I would pick up some pediatric nasal saline from your drug store and put a very small amount into his nose. Hopefully, it will soften the mucous and thin the secretions making it easier for him to expel it with the sneezing. There is a slight risk your cat may have a mass in his sinuses causing this problem aswell. I would offer him some strong smelling canned food even open up a can of tuna to see if he takes that. If your cat is not eating at all you will need to force feed him with watered down food and a syringe. Cats who do not eat after 48 hours can develop a secondary condition that affects the liver which is life threatening so make sure he gets food into him every few hours.
Definitely have an exam on Monday to get him on antibiotics and feeling better in no time.
Thank you
