Blood in cat's stool

I have noticed blood in my cats stool lately. I took her to the vet and they tested it and no parasites were shown. What could cause this condition?

How old is your cat?
was the blood bright red or dark?
Wht did she eat just prior to this?

How many times have you seen it?

Lucy is four years old. The blood is darker in color and she only eats Iams Multi cat and a little Tuna (about a 1/2 Tablespoon) once a day.

I have notices this about 3 -4 times in the past month.
