Hi,
I am concerned about your cat. If I had to guess, your cat either has hyperthyroidism or diabetes. Both of these diseases are serious and can be fatal if left untreated. Hyperthyroidism leads to a rapid metabolism which effects all of the organs in the body. It will lead to cardiovascular changes and hypertension (high blood pressure) as well. In order to diagnose your cat's problem, you should bring it to your veterinarian for some blood work. I would bet that they will find the root of the problem with some basic diagnostics.
I hope I have been helpful. Please let me know if you need more information.
