Question

my cats paw

Sent to Cat Experts June 23, 2006 10:09 p.m.

my short-haired domestic in-home 9 year old cat has suddenly been lifting up her right paw like it hurts and licking it. I looked for cuts or something lodged in her paw but can't see anything. We communicate and she's showing me it hurts. She let's me feel her leg and paw,and i put pressure to see where it might hurt her,but she makes no noticeable sounds,so i don't think anything is broken. She walks on all fours, but lays down after awhile to rest it. Should i be concerned?
