I have a five year old male cat with a history of bladder problems. I noticed that he's only had a bowel movement one day during the past six days. That last time he had a bowel movement was Wednesday morning (two days ago; prior to that it was before Sunday.) He appears to be himself; he's not lethargic; he eats and drinks. When I took him to the vet, I was told that his colon was empty. How could that be? Am I wrong to be concerned?
