Dear friend,

You can give your senior girl one half teaspoon of mineral oil. That should produce a bowel movement in two to six hours.

If it does not, your girl needs to see a vet. A 19 year old cat must be treated like fragile glass. Anything going on with her should be quickly and aggressively addressed. OLder as can become ill and go downhill at the drop of a hat.

If she gets stressed easily, see if you can get a mobile vet to come to your home and see her.As long as she is still eating - trythe mineral oil first.

Please let me know how she is and if you have any more questions. I will be happy to help.

Very sincerely,

Terri

Thank you for your help. I will do just that. It is just to relieve her , since my vet will be back tomorrow. I am truly grateful.
