I have a cat that is about 8 years old and for the last 2 years I have taken her to different vets to figure out what she suffers from. I only end up giving her anitbiotics that maybe work for a week or so, then the symptoms come back. She has her right nostril that runs a lot, she has many sneezing attacks that release thick mucus and her eyes are runny, usually her right eye more. I also can hear her breathing heavy, like she struggles to breathe sometimes, and she just sounds stuffed up. Is there any route I can go to really figure out what's wrong, any suggestions of what might be wrong? It is not a cold, I am convinced it is something else. Please give any helpful advice that you can. Sincerely, Kris

Has anyone ever done a culture of the nasal discharge?
Have the symptoms been fairly constant over the last 2 years?
Has she ever been given Lysine (Enisyl)?
