Dear friend,

Cats can absolutely recognize a familial scent. She may not know this is her sister but she can certainly tell this is a relative.Cats can also recognize humans from the same family. Once my first cousin came over and my cat (who had never before seen him before)- went right over to him and sat on his lap.

The male, who may be a little more standoffish will soon warm up to her as well.

Please let me know if you have any more questions or want to dicuss this more. I will be happy to help in any way possible.

Best of luck with your lovely furry children,

Warmest best wishes,

Terri

Der friend,

I promise you your cat will soon return to her loving ways toward you and she will teach the kitten to be the same way. So just be a little patient. As soon as the kitten is older and can fend for her self - you will have two lovebugs. And two sweet furry children.

Warmest wishes,

Terri
