(Not a Cat Question?)

baby kittens
Sent to Cat Experts May 05 11:40 PM

A stray cat that I've been feeding just had 4 kittens that a couple of construction guys working at my house found today in a sheltered location where she had them hidden. They took them out of the location, put them in a box and placed them on the porch. The mother cat came and took back 2 of them thus far-obviously,re-hiding them. I'm afraid to leave the other two outside overnight in the elements and where other animals might harm them. Should I keep them inside and warm? Should I leave them outside so their Mother might return to get them and re-hide them with the other two? They seem to be about 2(maybe 3 weeks old.) Eyes are open; tummies are plump and they seem to be well hydrated at this point. What might I feed them and how? I live in the country and it's too late to go to the store-have no whole milk in the house-only 1/2 & 1/2, 2% and skim+. Have no Karo syrup only Aunt Jamama lite. Help please. I want to do what's best for them until morning comes and I can get them to a vet. Thanks for you quick reply! Randa
