Question

My cat has recently stopped eating as much as he had been ...

Sent to Cat Experts May 04, 2006 3:41 p.m.

My cat has recently stopped eating as much as he had been and shedding a lot. I was wondering if this is normal behavior once the warmer weather starts and when I should be concerned. He otherwise seems himself, he's just stopped eating, about 1/4-1/2 his normal food/day.

How old is your cat?
Could you please list his diet?
Does he ever go outdoors?

How long is he doing this?

My cat is 1 1/2 years old, he eats 2/3 of a cup of Authority Adult Indoor Cat food per day, and he does not go outdoors. He has not been eating well for about 1 1/2 weeks now.
