I have a 3yr old cat male who acts as if he needs to go to the bathroom (not sure which one), stands and squats for a long time and produces nothing. Afterward he would clean himself. This started last night. there was some throw-up (solid pre digested food no sign of hair) on the floor this morning. What could be wrong with him?
