I have a cat named Sox. He suffers from reoccuring mouth ulcers. My vet isn't sure what causes them. We've switched his food so many times, but that hasn't helped. My vet has put him on a drug called Ovaban, and it clears them up for a few weeks, but they come back. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sox is approx. 10 years old. We feed him and his kitty buddies Purina dry food and 9-lives canned food. The vet didn't think it was the food, because that's what he's eaten his whole life. The ulcers are located inside on the upper and lower jaws. This has been an on going thing now, for approx. 3 years.
