My cat is 11yrs. old and is an indoor female tabby.
Recently I noticed that she has some weeping from her nipple and the area feels quite hard to the touch.
However, she does not seem to be in pain and will allow me to examine the area.
I had not been worried at first because she was born with a hernia and the Vet had chosen not to repair it as a kitten stating that there was no problem.
At first, I assumes that it was the hernia area, but now, with the weeping (clear discharge, small amount, but constant)I just want to be sure.
I do not want to take her to the Vet because she is one of those cats that becomes extremely stressed when taken out of the house.
But, I do not wish to sacrifice her health on the other hand.
Can you give me some alternatives to check, first?
Can you suggest what it may possibly be?
She appears in good health. No change in habits, feeding and no lethargy detected.
Does not act if area in question is painful.
Thanking you in advance for your help and consideration.
