I have inherited a female cat that has just begun bleeding a little from her vagina. I'm not sure how old she is but she is old enough to breed and I am pretty sure she has not been spayed.

Reply to Terri Riba's Post: We feed her Meow Mix (the same as our cats) and she eats like a horse, she actually adopted us. She came with our house and we do not let her in because we have two other cats. If I had to guess I would say a year maybe two. She is energetic, and doesn't seem ill. She does get into fights but there doesn't look to be any trauma. Our other cats are healthy.

Cats do not menstruate blood so she either has a urinary tract or uterine infection. She could also have some type of internal injury if she gets into fights.
Since she is eating (and well) that means she is not feeling too bad. It would be a good idea to get her some antibioics so she does not get any worse. See if your veterinarian will prescribe some clavamox and give it to her twice a day for two weeks.
Please let me know if you have any more questions. I will be happy to help.
