I have 14 yo neutered male cat who has just been diagnosed with a heart murmur and blood clot in the rear leg. Have not been able to have ultrasound done as that vet is on vacation until next week. Would like a source of reading material on this problem. Emergency vet put him on 81 mg of aspirin a day. Seems a little high for a cat when that is what we encourage our human patients to take daily. Would like as much info as possible so I can know what to anticipate & what I can actually do to make him comfortable and painless and continue to live a good life. TXS Sandee
