When a cat has stress and innoculations those two things weaken her immune system and make her susceptible to the airborne bacteria that are in verterinary facilities.
She needs the antibiotic to keep her from developing serious complications like pneumonia or bronchitis.
It is actually easier to give a cat a liquid then a pill.
Wrap her securely in a towel so just her head is exposed.Have someone else hold her while you hold her muzzle in your left hand. You will notice that there is a space between the teeth on the side. Just insert the dropper in the space and squeeze holding her muzzle all the time.
Giving a pill involves holding the mouth open, tossing it into the back of her throat and holding her mouth closed til she swallows (much more difficult).
One way to turn this into a positive experience is to have somet tuna water ready. As soon as you give meds, immediatky follow with tuna water so she will know that somthing good comes too.
In the future try to find a mobile vet so she will not have so much stress and she will not be exposed to virus and other (potentially sick) animals.
Please let me know if you have any more questions. I will be very happy to help.
