why do male cats bleed from penis?

My male cat who is 3.5 years old. Last night he throw up a yellow substance. Then at 5:00 on 02/14/2006 he through up a white mucas substance. Then when I got home about 2:45 pm on 02/14/2006 I noticed he was bleeding from his private area. I don't know if it's a kidney affection or something else. Can you please help.
