OUR CAT IS ACTING DIFFERENT,SHE HAS ALL HER SHOTS

Our two year old cat recently began licking her lips alot and is not interested in food or water. She has hid from us and not been friendly to us in the last two days. What should we do? She does have all her required shots. We have a new kitten in the house that moved in about 4 weeks ago. We at first thought she could be responding to the "middle child syndrome".
