I moved into a new house about a month ago with my fiance and my cat adjusted great. Then one day while I was out my cat got outside(she is an indoor cat) and my fiance went to get her and he said she was making awful meowing cries she finally ran past him and inside the house to hide. He went to see if she was ok and she kept running away from him and eventually scratched him. So he put her in the bedroom with the litter box until I got home. When I went to see her she was hiding in the far back corner under the bed. Now she is fine when it is just me in the house but when he is around she hides and runs away from him. She used to follow him around and give him love but not anymore. This is posing a problem for my fiance because he is feeling rejected. I don't know what is going on with her can anyone help?
