Hi I have a cat that has a broken pelvis she came to me like that. the problem is she cant eat allot at once she will plug up i have to bring her to the vet for stool removal. she is narrow so the stool sometimes gets stuck, or sometimes she will need a enma when she eates too much. so i have been feeding her hills rd dry a half cup or more through out the day, not alott at once. and she was doing ok but she started to loose weight, so now she is on hills wd dry and hills wd can, if she eats too much can at once the stool will bulk up and not come out. I want to give more than a half cup of dry through out the day and can. I put about a quater of a tea spoon of fatty acid dietary supplement supplies omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids over the dry food half cup and through out the day feed her about a tablespoon at a time i'm trying to space the times to feed her so i can give more food. I was wondering if i gave her a tablespoon of dry food every two hours if it would digest at different times where it wouldent come out the same time? I try do give the drop from the can to. I bought a feeder that you set so she can eat when i'm not home. So i quess the question would be the timing to feed her so it all dont come out the same time. Also i had blood work done and it came back good. thank you marie
