i found my mother cat lying on the bathroom floor, she had been incontinent of a soft bm. her eyes are glazed and she isnt tracking visually. she is listless and cannot walk. her breathing is labored, she is using accessary muscles to breathe and she has very coarse breath sounds. she has 5 kittens that are 7 weeks old but i do not think that this is related to her present illness. her skin turgor is good and she has been eating well up to this point. one concern that i do have is that she might have been poisened for i noticed that someone had put some catfood out by a dumpster in my apartment complex. what do you think might be wrong. also she is about 1 year old and i havent gotten her shots yet. she has also had foul smelling bms up to 5 a day
