my cat is 16yrs she completly dehidrated,should i have her put
to sleep or she wont even drink water any more. She is just skin
covered bones. My sister keept giving her food that made her
sick and now i dont think she can recover. She doesant seem to
know how sick she really is she still purrs when i pet her and
gives me the mom it s going to be ok look. but i dont want her
to suffer. to take her to a vet she has to be put on a cathader
and other things and the cost is going to be much more than i
can afford. I feel very guilty. I dont know what to do? She isnt in
pain she would tell me if she was. Should I just keep her home
and see what happens.One vet told me because of her age they
wouldnt run tests on her. What should I do. Please I dont know. I
feel so guilty i cant afford treatment for her I know its going to
be over 300.00. She doesant eat or drink anything. She did want
to drink water from a mud puddle she wanted to go out so i let
her since she was so sick but normally she doesant go outside.
She has been on a special diet for the last 10 yrs because my
younger cat has to be. and you cant do one withourt the other. I
kept telling my sister not to give them anything ,wet
food,milk,treats , that they got sick when they ate them.but the
more i said it the more she did it. we just moved in with her a
year ago. and she has a drug problem but that is a nother story.
but that is what started her vomiting. she had gotten real sick 4
mo, ago but recovered in a week. this time its been 3 weeks and
no signs of recovery small amounts here and there but it
doesant last long. she by the end of the day has been worse.
right now she is weak, and cant eat or drink still pees a little not
much any more. please what to do ...
