Question

Feline Intestinal Paratinitis....

Sent to Cat Experts August 22, 2005 9:49 p.m.

Feline Intestinal Paratinitis, is what we were told our cat has. For almost 3 yrs now he's been on medication, it's suppose to help keep the water intake down (?). Lately our dear Willie seems to reverting back to doing things he did when a kitten, like snuggling in the bathroom sink. He's about 20 pds. He sleeps alot, and I'm certain when he's gone to litter box he's got a strong smell, bowl movement. We have 2 other cats, but it's unlike them to have such a strong odor. On the initial check up we were told his stomach can get very doughy, and it will get bigger, which would seem to overcome the rest of his body. Do you have any suggestions.
