my cat sydney

Sent to Cat Experts August 10, 2005 12:33 p.m.

My 13 yr old domestic cat has a high level of proteins in his blood, is losing weight rapidly but still has an appetite. He has been checked for cancer and has none. He is a bit lethargic and sometimes his breathing is labored. I've had him to the vet, who is stumped. Please help!

Has the vet checked the thyroid, liver and renal function?
