Question

Crying kitty

Sent to Cat Experts August 10, 2005 11:18 a.m.

My cat is 14.5 years old she is a spade female and seems to be very healthy from all physical appearance. I have checked inside her mouth, her ears, eyes no lumps no bumps, her eating and drinking habits have not changed and her litterbox seems normal. That all said, she has started crying ( loud persistent meowing ) a lot it is worse at night after I go to bed than in the daytime. She seems almost as if she is lost or confused. Should I be concerned or is this a normal part of aging if so is there anything I can do to help or reduce the meowing she is really driving me a little crazy.
Thanks
Stacy
