WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS FEMALE CAT?

WE HAVE A STRAY CAT, SEEMS LIKE ABOUT 7 MONTHS OLD, HANGING AROUND OUR HOUSE. FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS, SHE HAS BEEN HUNCHING HER BACK AND KNEADING WITH HER BACK LEGS BUT DOESN'T SEEM TO BE IN ANY PAIN. YOU CAN PICK HER UP WITH NO PROBLEM AND SHE CAN WALK NORMAL BUT SEEMS TO BE DOING THE HUNCHING ALOT. WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER? THANKS, CINDY TODD

If she has not been spayed, she is probably in heat. When a cat is in heat they might walk low to the ground, vocalize a lot, be very affectionate and might flag their tail to the side.

If you don't want kittens, I suggest that you have her spayed right away.
