help my cats have been on ABT for months for coughing, sneezing and lots of mucus. The culture was + for " pasturella" it continues!!! What next?

Reply to Tammy Falkner's Post: They have been on Cefadroxil for 3 weeks. Before that amoxicillin for a month.Before that 2 weeks on an unidentified 'pill' from the breeder/vet. it slows down then starts right back up. I am fed up !I have been cleaning cat snot for months. it was cultured and I was told "pasturella" or something similar.
I'm a nurse. They can't tell me this is normal....it is not normal. Antibiotics for over a month??? something is wrong.
